Are you in the market looking for a brand new vehicle than this is the place to be on Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend. There will be many automakers displaying their new 2018 model vehicles. This show runs form November 23 – 26, 2017, at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in South Orlando. This is a family friendly style show. Everyone is welcome.
It is only a quick drive from Downtown Orlando to the OCCC in South Orlando. Check your GPS for the best route to OCCC. There is plenty of parking available. Sorry, no free parking in the area. There is a parking fee for parking on the OCCC property.
When walking into the building one will notice Ticket booths to purchase your tickets into this auto show. Ticket prices are $5- $9 per person. Experience the show first hand. Upon enter the auto show hall, one will see over 350+ new model vehicles on display from cars, trucks, SUVs, crossovers, and alternative fuel vehicles. Find the vehicle you like and take a seat inside the vehicle. Then check out the engine underneath the hood. How many horses does it have? Check the display signage next to the vehicle.
Besides all seeing vehicles, there is Family Fun Days throughout the weekend. FAMILY FUN DAYS activities include a balloon artist, face-painting, and Kids Test Drives, powered by CITGO, are featured throughout Thanksgiving weekend. Bring your kids to the auto show so they can get their face painted or receive a unique balloon animal or art.
Outside in the backside of the OCCC is a test track for motorists who want to drive the newest factory vehicles. Certain restrictions apply. Test vehicles are subject to change without notice.
Check out Orlando’s Collector Car Show area inside the hall with the rest of the new model vehicles. The Central Florida International Auto Show is proud to add this first annual show-within-a-show display of over 25 classic & modern vehicles in ten classes: Chrysler Classic & Modern, Ford Classic & Modern, General Motors Classic & Modern, Hot Rods Classic & Modern, and Imports Classic & Modern. Vehicles will be judged by a panel of peers, and trophies awarded to each Classic & Modern class at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 26. Show-goers can cast their vote for the overall Peoples’ Choice Award, too. Bring your camera, and be sure to vote!
Festival of Speed area returns again this year. The Festival of Speed area is located at (space N-50): Get a first-hand look at this unique collection of premier, high-end luxury and customized vehicles. Don’t miss it! You can look, but you can’t touch.
There will also be a Hometown Heroes vehicle display. The Central Florida International Auto Show is proud to display a few of the vehicles used by local emergency service professionals in keeping us safe from fire, accidents, and natural disasters. Bring your camera and snap a photo beside one of these impressive vehicles. Also, check out the Winter Park Fire Department 1929 Antique Fire Engine, Hall-Mark Fire Apparatus 2017 Fire Engine and 2017 Fire/EMT Ambulance.
