2017 Autonation CureBowl in Orlando Preview

This is the first of three-football bowl games in Orlando starting with starting with the AutoNation CureBowl at Camping World Stadium on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 2:30pm kick off. See Georgia State takes on Western Kentucky to battle it out. Who’s going to take home this year’s AutoNation CureBowl trophy?

It is just a quick walk or ride from Downtown Orlando to Camping World Stadium. Some street may be blocked off around the stadium. Use your GPS for the best route to Camping World Stadium in Orlando. It is recommended to pre-pay for parking ahead of time. There may be limited parking on game day near the stadium. Parking fees in the area range from $10-$50 depending on location. Another options to the stadium are to use a ride sharing service, taxis, and or local bus transportation.

What is the Autonation CureBowl? The CureBowl is a unique venue to fund raise for the battle of against breast cancer. Expect both teams to be wearing some type of pink on their uniform. Bringing Teams Together to Find a Cure for Cancer. The AutoNation Cure Bowl is more than a game. It’s a celebration of the women who are living with breast cancer today and those who will face it tomorrow.  It’s a rally cry to the world to raise awareness and help bring an end to this deadly disease once and for all. The AutoNation Cure Bowl is an NCAA college football bowl game played each December at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

The game is nationally televised on CBS Sports Network and features teams from the American Athletic Conference and the Sun Belt Conference*.  Funds raised from the AutoNation Cure Bowl directly benefit the nation’s highest rated breast cancer organization, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, whose mission is committed to exclusively funding cancer research. The AutoNation Cure Bowl launched in 2015 as the nation’s 40th collegiate football bowl game. The bowl is organized by The Orlando Sports Foundation, Inc.  We can tackle this!

Get your tickets now from the stadium box office and or at your local Ticketmaster outlets. Ticket prices will vary from $25, $50, and goes on up depending on section your sitting in. Every seat is a great seat inside the stadium. Some seats are more comfortable than others. The upper desk has blenching seating while the lower bowl has box seating.

This football game is not expected to sell out. Watch out for ticket scalpers outside the stadium selling fake tickets at high-ticket prices. Fans with fake tickets will not be allowed inside the stadium. For more information on tickets go to https://curebowl.com/tickets/ .

Here are some tips how to prepare for game day. Don’t forget to dress comfortably for the weather. It could be hot or cold outside while watching the football game. Here are some items to pack such as sunglasses, ball cap, sunscreen, poncho, and cash.

It is advised to arrive early for tailing and watch a pre-game concert featuring Andy Grammer for this game. Also, fans will also enjoy a game day experience zone right outside the stadium. There will be many sponsors giving out free swag items. Plus, there will be team merchandise will be available to purchase if you forget to bring yours.

When entering the stadium there is a security checkpoint. Certain items are not allowed inside the stadium. All bags are checked along with a full body search too. Please refer the stadium website for more information. Sorry, no large bags of any sort, no outside food and drinks, weapons, coolers, and umbrellas.

During the game, feel the excitement with your favorite college team. Both team bands will be in attendance too. At half time, watch both team bands perform. If you get hungry during the game, there is plenty of concession stands to choose from around the stadium. Prices will vary depending on food and drink items.

Plan to stay at the end of this football game to watch the trophy ceremony on the field. It is quite a scene to see. Then the party starts with the winning team hoisting the trophy in the air. When fans are exiting the end of the game expect to see heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic when leaving.
