Orlando, FL – Are you looking to get your kids ready back to school? If you said yes, than this is the place to be on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 10am – 1pm, at Amway Center in Orlando. New location this year! Hope Now International and WFTV 9 Family Connection are sponsoring this FREE event. This event is on a first come, first serve on school supplies and services.

This event is located at Amway Center 400 West Church Street, Orlando, FL 32801. Check your GPS for the best travel route to this location. There maybe free parking available at the Geico Parking Garage. Look for parking attendants directing traffic. Additional parking is located around the Amway Center. Sorry, no free street parking.

The background of Hope Now International is a 100% all-volunteer organization, which has no paid staff members. Plus, is a non-profit organization with a 501c3 certified organization. The very first Back 2 School Bash was started in 1995 and has grown ever since then. Hope Now truly cares about the Central Florida community. Many other organizations, companies, and individuals, have donated school supplies to this worth cause. This is what makes this event so special.

If you plan on arriving early to this event before 10am, expect to wait in a long line outside the Amway Center front doors. Most people arrive early to get a choice of a color and style backpack when entering the Amway Center doors. This event will not open any early than 10am. When entering the Amway Center there is a security checkpoint to enter for all attendees. Sorry, certain items are not allowed inside the building. Check with security for more information. Your child must be present to get free school supplies and services at this event. This is on a first come, first serve basis.

This place is a one-stop shop to get your children ready for school. There are many health screenings such as dental checks, haircuts, eye screening, and physicals. All services are free. Please bring your patience while waiting in these lines. There are trained medical and licensed professionals that are providing these free services.

Plus, there will be many other vendors on hand giving out free things as well. Stop by the WFTV booth and meet some on-air personalities. Also, check out the Orange County School District (OCSD) has a yellow mini-school bus golf cart that kids can have their photos taken with. This is one of the family favorites. Another vendor is FunSpot America, which will be on hand too giving out candy. Check out Brownie’s Plumbing and Septic Alligator will be on hand to your photo taken with. Plus, there will be much more to see and do at this event.
