2018 12th Annual Florida United Numismatists Summer Fun Show in Orlando Preview

This is the place to buy, sell, and trade any money and coins related all in one place on July 12 – 14, 2018, at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE show and this is family friendly show. Expect to spend 3-6 hours walking around at this coin show to see everything.

It is a quick drive from Downtown Orlando to the OCCC. Check your GPS for the best travel route. The address is 9800 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819. Sorry, no free parking at the OCCC. Before entering the show floor, there is a security checkpoint to enter. There will be a heavy presents of security and law enforcement working this show. There are certain items, which are prohibited to be brought into the show room. All bags are search before entering show room.

There is much to see and do at this coin show. Don’t forget to check out the unique and rare exhibits out on display. Here are the exhibit categories such as U.S. Coins, Paper Money (U.S. and Foreign), Medals, Orders, Decorations, and Tokens, Foreign Coins, Errors (All numismatic errors), Miscellaneous items, Junior Young Numismatists ages 9-16 and 17-21, and member of numismatists clubs. Most items are displayed in glass display cases.

There will many rows and rows of dealers at this show. Prices on money and coins will vary from dealer to dealer. It is recommended to check the value of your money and coins before selling or trading. A list of dealers will be posted of the show’s website closer to the show. They’re maybe an appraisal service on site to inspect your money and coins for a fee. Most dealers may take credit cards. However, it is recommended to bring cash for payment on any money and or coin items.

Besides the show room, don’t forget to check out the many seminars taking place during this coin show. Check out “Trade Up to Trade Dollars”, by Mark Trout, “it’s Still a Jungle Out There,” by Skip Fazzari, “Standing Liberty Quarter Mythbusters,” by Ray Herz, and “The Wise Collector:Five Collections You Should Start Building Right Now,” by Randy Campbell. All speakers and topics are subjected to change without notice. These programs will be held in Room W232C outside of Hall WE1. All programs are free and open to the public.

Plus, during the show there will be auctions showcasing a variety of money and coin items too. These auctions are produced by Heritage Auctions from Dallas, Texas. They have been around since 1976. For more information on the up coming auction sales please visit www.ha.com/ .
