2026 FIFA World Cup Soccer Tournament Possibly Coming to Orlando

You may have heard the news now that the United States, Mexico, and Canada, will be co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. Camping World Stadium in Orlando may play a part in hosting a few soccer games in this tournament.

The last time FIFA World Cup was in Orlando was back in 1994. These teams were Ireland, Mexico, Belgium, Morocco, and Netherlands. Everyone had a great time watching these games formerly at the Orlando Citrus Bowl Stadium. Since then the stadium was been renovated with day’s times with modern features.

Fans will be able to experience fun times when possibly Orlando host a few soccer games. One can just feel the excitement in the air.

Fast-forward to today; where Orlando now has an MLS professional soccer team. The Central Florida community loves soccer and Orlando is the “Soccer Capital of the South”, which was said by Phil Rowlins, President Emertitus, for Orlando City Soccer Club.

In addition, Orlando fans sold-out the Orlando City Stadium for the Fall 2017 U.S. National Team verses Costa Rica National Team in a men’s soccer game. There were many watch parties for this game. It was the hottest ticket in town for this game. Expect the same when the World Cup returns to North America. It is recommended to get your tickets when they first go on sale.Expect to hear more news about this soccer tournament in the years to come.
