Orlando, FL – Ever since the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, people from all walks of life have come down to visit this site on Orange Ave in Downtown Orlando. This is a place that everyone should visit once if in the area. I had a chance to visit this place for a second time to see the renovated outside memorial and to reflect with the 49 lives that were lost. One will not find a large amount of memorial items along the fence line as in the past.

When driving down to the Pulse Nightclub memorial site there are a few free 15 minute street parking along the side street off of Orange Avenue. Sorry, no parking on property at the Pulse Nightclub. At this time, the dark gray building is still standing. There is a fence surrounding the building.

The sights and sounds of the renovated Pulse Nightclub Memorial is a sight to see. One will be able to hear background music while walking around the property. There are many visual aspects on the perimeter wall lined with photographs.

The original Pulse Nightclub sign is still standing behind the photo wall. The Pulse Foundation has added benches, trees, and a kiosk to the property until they finalize a private memorial. Stay tuned for more information on this memorial project.

When leaving the Pulse Nightclub Memorial, check out the rainbow painted cross walk. Many people have their photos taken on this cross walk. Then post it on social media for all to see.

It is worth the drive down to this memorial. Many visitors will learn a lot from the people who were lost in historical event. On the www.pulseorlandoclub.com , it states “On 6.12.16, our Orlando community was changed forever. We grieve with the victims, their families and our Pulse family, and we thank you all for the outpouring of support and love that is helping us through this tragic time.”
