There will be a free men’s health seminar on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 6:30pm, at the One Senior Place. Dr. Steve Williams, a Medical Doctor, will give a presentation on male erectile dysfunction and stress urinary incontinence. This seminar is co-sponsored by Florida Hospital Medical Group and Boston Scientific.
It is a short drive from Downtown Orlando to One Senior Place at 715 Douglas Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida. There is plenty of free parking available for this event. Here is a sample of what the presentation seminar will focus on two conditions that affect many men in the United States. Dr. Williams will discuss the signs, symptoms, and treatment for these medical issues. At the end of the seminar, there will be question and answer session. Plus, light refreshments will be served.
Plus, here are some brief facts about these two conditions. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a condition that affects as many as 50% of the men over the age of 40 in the US. ED can limit male intimacy, affect their self-esteem, and impact their relationship with their partner. Medication helps treat ED in some men, but it does not work for all men. For those men, there may be other treatment options.
Male stress urinary incontinence (SUI) affects up to 500,000 men worldwide. SUI also known as bladder leakage can have a significant impact on your physical and mental health.
The bio about presenter Dr. Steve Williams treats patients at both the Altamonte and future Apopka offices. Dr. Williams earned his medical degree at the University of the West Indies and received specialist postgraduate training in Urology at the Bristol Institute of Urology in the United Kingdom. He completed his Urology residency at the Montefiore Medical center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and received advanced fellowship training in Urologic oncology, as well as robotic surgery and endourology at the Jackson Memorial hospital.
