Here is some brief information about this play. Against the backdrop of the depression era rural heartland, Jim Leonard’s The Diviners weaves a tale of an unlikely friendship that develops between a disturbed young man and an itinerant ex-preacher in the mythical town of Zion, Indiana. “The playwright’s warmth, humor and love for humanity permeate the drama, and make it both touching and entertaining.” – Variety
