2018 Fall Mineral, Gem, Bead, and Fossil, Show in Orlando Preview

Mark your calendar for the 2018 Fall Mineral, Gem, Bead, and Fossil Show being held on October 5 – 7, 2018 at The Florida National Guard Armory in Orlando. Show hours are Friday 1pm – 6pm, Saturday 10am – 6pm, and Sunday 10am – 5pm. This is a family friendly show. Rain or shine this show goes on. Plus, this show is produce by Central Florida Mineral and Gem Society.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Admission is free for children 5 and under, children 6 -15 years of age are $2, and 16 years old and up are just $5. It is advised to bring cash to purchase your tickets. It is a short drive from Downtown Orlando to The Florida National Guard Armory at 2809 South Fern Creek Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32806. Just South of Michigan Avenue. Check your GPS for the best route there. There is plenty of free parking.

Here is just some of the sights and sound of this show. There will be many booths to browse the large stock of rocks and minerals on hand. Other items one will find are unique beads, custom jewelry, artifacts, and metaphysical stones. One can buy, sell, and trade your mineral pieces. Plus, there will be some good quality buys at the silent auction too. Please not all dealers will take credit cards. Most dealers prefer cash.

There will children activities are well at this show. Now is the time to help your children start a rock and mineral collection. This is one way to make geology class exciting in school. Learn more about the rocks, minerals, and jewelry making. There will be variety of demonstrations. Plus, there will be classes on wire wrap and Cabochon cutting. There is limited space in these classes.
