2019 Florida Cup Soccer Games in Orlando Preview

If you have never been to a Florida Cup soccer game before, you don’t know what you’re missing. This international soccer tournament has some of the best soccer teams from around the world play their tournament matches in Central Florida. These soccer games are being playing from January 10-20, 2018. Rain or shine these games go on.

Here is just some of the soccer team participating in the 2019 Florida Cup so far. They are Ajax Amsterdam, Eintracht Frankfurt, Flamengo, and Sao Paulo FC. There is only going to be four teams this year at this soccer tournament. Who are these four teams?

Ajax Amsterdam FC is a European team from Amsterdam, Netherlands. They play in the Dutch Professional Football Club. Here are just a few names on the roster from this team, which are Hakim Ziyech, Frenkie de Jung, and Kasper Dolberg. This club has won 33 Eredivisie titles and 18 KNVB Cups.

Eintracht Frankfurt is another European team from Frankfurt, Germany. They play in the top tier of the German Football League Here are just a few names on the roster from this team, which are Luka Jovic, Ante Rebic, and Kevin Trapp. This club has won 1 German championship, 5 DFB-Pokals, and 1 UEFA Cup.

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo from Rehoboth, Brazil. They play in the Namibia Premier League. Here are just a few names on the roster from this team, which are Rever Humberto Alves Araujo, Juan Silveira dos Santos, Diego Ribas da Cunha.

Sao Paulo FC is from Brazil. They play in the Brasileirao Series A. Here are just a few names on the roster from this team, which are Everton Cardoso da Silva, Nene, and Hernanes.

For soccer games hosted at Orlando City Stadium in Downtown Orlando, there are a variety of parking options. Most fans will be parking at the City of Orlando Orange Lot located on West Pine Street and Division Avenue. Parking cost per vehicle is between $10-$20. Another place to park is at a private lot on West Central Boulevard and Terry Street. Same price range to park.

There is a security checkpoint to enter Orlando City Stadium. All attendees are searched and go through metal detectors. Plus, all bags are searched too. There is a small bag requirement. See Orlando City Stadium website for more details.

The sights and sounds of the 2019 Florida Cup will keep you hanging off your box seat. Expect these international teams to come ready to battle it out on the soccer field. This is not the same style of play that the Major League Soccer (MLS). The players are much tougher and fans more rough and tuff action. Plus, it is faster style of play.
