2018 Gaylord Palms ICE! – A Christmas Story in Kissimmee Preview

ICE! is back at Gaylord Palms with an all-new theme featuring the beloved classic holiday movie A Christmas Story. Watch this hilarious family tale come to life through interactive ice sculptures and displays. Experience iconic scenes such as The Old Man’s Major Award, Aunt Clara’s pink nightmare and the ultimate triple dog dare at the school’s flagpole. Everything is hand-carved from two million pounds of ice. This is a family friendly event. Mark your calendar to visit from November 16, 2018 thru January 6, 2019.

Know Before you Go

  • Ticket sales will end 30 minutes prior to listed attraction closing time.
  • The ICE! attraction is a self-guided, walk through experience that lasts approximately 15-30 minutes. In total, you should plan to spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours for the entire ICE! experience.
  • Snow Tubing Height Restrictions – Must be at least:
    36-inches tall to ride with an adult on double tube.
    42-inches tall to ride by yourself on single small tube.
    60-inches tall to ride on single large tube.
    Double riding tubes are available for parents with small children who are 36 inches or taller.

Before attending this event, here are some suggestions. Wear long pants, tennis shoes, long sleeve shirt, gloves, a hat, earmuffs, and a winter jacket. It is very cold inside the ICE! Exhibit. This attractions does provide a loaner blue winter jackets to individuals who need them.

It is a short drive from Downtown Orlando to the Gaylord Palm Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee. Check your GPS for the best route there. There address is 6000 West Osceola County Parkway, Kissimmee, Florida 34746. Sorry, no free parking for attending this ICE exhibit and entertainment. There is a fee for parking. Drivers’ should look for signs directing them towards the Convention Center where the ICE! Exhibit is located.

Get your tickets online now for this exhibit. Ticket prices range from $49.99 thru $103 per adult and will vary depending on a pass. Children ticket prices range from $38.88 thru $84 per child.   • Colorful, life-sized ice sculptures and five two-story ice slides
  • Hand-carved scenes from the beloved holiday movie classic, A Christmas Story
  • The Frostbite Factory – a live ice carving zone with artisans from Harbin, China
  • A separate area dedicated to the majestic Nativity in crystal-clear ice
