If you have not been to the Central Florida is years, than you have not seen the rejuvenated Central Florida Fair. Everything has gotten better with this fair including parking, security, the rides, games, exhibits, livestock, entertainment, and much more. Rain or shine the fair must go on. This fair is running now till March 17, 2019.

The busiest times for this fair are the opening day and the weekends. During the weekdays tends to be a low turnout. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Open Wednesday thru Sunday.

When approaching the front gates, one will see the old fair signage welcoming everyone. Young and old will enjoy this fair. There is something for everyone. Please remember everyone must go through the security checkpoint. It is not advised to be large bags into the fair. All bags will be searched.

The fair has a fresh look with exciting rides and games. There are still some usual staples at the fair. Check out the largest traveling Farris wheel. At night, this Farris wheel performs a neat light show. One will be amazed by the colorful show.

This year’s entertainment will wow you! You asked for it and they brought it back again. The Sea Lion show. Get up and personal with the Sea Lions. The show is very funny. Children will love it. Watch these sea creatures put on a comical show. There is bleacher seating for this show. First come, first serve seating. Plus, there is room for standing room for the rest of the crowd.

Another great show is the World of Wonder. This is a must see, except for people who are squeamish. One will see a guy sticking swords down his month, a guy throwing knives at a lady moving around, medieval slicing human head act, a guy blowing flames from his mouth, the electric chair act. All performers are professional and no one was injured during these acts. Sorry, there are no chairs to sit during show; it is standing room only. This show is approximately 15-25 minutes long.

Don’t forget to watch the BMX Stunt Show. Watch these guys perform acrobatic stunts along with riding up the ramps. Spectators should chant chicken if one of the performers won’t do the jump. Then he’ll reconsider the jump. There are no seating available for this show; only stand room only. Plan to arrive early to get an unobstructed view. This show last 15-20 minutes.

One thing you won’t see this year’s fair are the donut burgers. This was one of the fair favorites. There are just too many calories for just one burger. However, this fair still has great food and drinks. They are the large turkey drumstick, pizza, funnel cakes, Fried Oreo, cotton candy, candy apples, burgers, and much more. Food and drink prices will vary from $2-$15 depending on item.

There is much more too this fair than just ride and games. Check out the exhibits, which include fine arts, model railroading, quilting, gardening, food display, the construction exhibit, and much more. This is the first year of the construction exhibit at the fair. See these guys built a canstruction out of canned goods.

If shopping is your thing, check out the various fair vendors. They have everything from airbrushed t-shirts, LED light up sunglasses, African clothing, and much more. It is recommended to bring cash. Some vendors don’t take credit cards.

It is worth your time and money to visit this year’s Central Florida Fair. Each year this fair is looking forward to bring new and exciting exhibits. Locals play here is the fair’s motto. For more information please visit www.centralfloridafair.com
