If you live or around Altamonte Springs area, check out the Altamonte Springs Historical Society Meeting which is being held on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at 2:45pm, at the historical old Altamonte Chapel on State Road 436. This organization looks to revive this dormant organization in time for the centennial next year. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in becoming a member and helping with up coming projects.

It is a short drive from Downtown Orlando to the historical old Altamonte Chapel on State Road 436. Check your GPS for the best route there. Look for the small white chapel. Plus, there is plenty of free parking. The chapel is located at 825 East Altamonte Drive (State Road 436), Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.

What is the Altamonte Springs Historical Society? This organization was formed in 1981 and is now being rejuvenated in 2019. There are some photos, documents, and other historical items that the City of Altamonte has achieved for the future.
