Independent Product Review
I have previously owned several Remington, Norelco, Braun, men’s electric shavers. The last model I owned was a Remington R3 Power Series Electric Rotary Shaver model PR1235A. This shaver was owned for a few years then I found it took longer to shave. I guess the motor was working too hard and was not performing effectively. The battery too needed to be charged every night. The next thing I knew it, I needed a new electric shaver. When the consumer finds that a product is almost warn out, than it is time for a new one. No need to replace parts in it. Save time and money and go buy a new one. Most electric shavers will last 3-5 years on average.
While at Walmart Supercenter, I browsed the many electric shavers on the market. I did not have a chance to review all the electric shavers on the shelf. However, I did compare the two Remington models with different prices. Which one to purchase?
They had the Remington R3 Power Series Rotary Shaver Black/Silver for $29.97 USD. The features on this model had pop up trimmer, active contour, comfortable close shave, PrecisionPlus Heads, PowerFlex 360, Twin Track Blades, Cordless, Anti-Mircorbial, and unit battery lasting up to 40 minutes. PrecisionPlus Replacement Head for Remington Rotary Shavers | SPR-PR13 cost around $23 USD.
The other model was the Remington Men’s Electric Rotary Shaver 6000/PR1385 for $59.97 USD. The product UPC number is 0-74590-54626-2 .The features on this model had pop up trimmer, active contour, washable, comfortable close shave, PrecisionPlus Heads, PowerFlex 360, WETech, Twin Track Blades, Cordless, Anti-Mircorbial, and unit battery lasting up to 60 minutes. Replacement WetTech PrcisionPlus Dual Track Spraq Shaving Heads cost around $23.00 USD.
Finally, I purchased the Remington Men’s Electric Rotary Shaver 6000/PR1385. Once I got it home, I could not wait to use it the next day. The first time I used this shaver felt very good. I got a super close shave like a baby’s behind. I had no issues to report. Just take it out of the box and use it until the battery is dead. What sold me on this model was the turbo mode. I found the older model was taking too long to shave. My time is money. I like to shave fast and get out the door for my day. Just a reminder, try to conduct regular maintenance and cleaning on your personal electric shaver to keep it top condition.
