This race originally was set for Saturday, July 6, 2019 and now been rescheduled for Sunday, July 7, 2019, at 1pm, at Daytona International Speedway. There is still time to travel and get your tickets for the last time during the 4th of July Holiday Weekend. This race is being moved toward the end of the season on next year’s NASCAR schedule.
It is about a 1-2 hour drive in heavy traffic drive from Downtown Orlando to Daytona International Speedway. Check your GPS for the best route there. Parking around the Speedway. It is advised to arrive early for the best parking spaces around. Parking lots around the speedway only accept cash. Expect to pay $40+ per vehicle for parking. The venue address is 1801 West International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
Tickets may still be available for this race. Check on stubhub.com and seageek.com. Please be advised it is never recommended to buy from a street side ticket scalper. Tickets start at $45 USD and go up from there. The infield is usually sold out months before the race. It is advised to buy your tickets early for the next year’s race.
Race fans should prepare for a long race day. First, it will be hot day in the Florida sunshine. Sometime the weather is unpredictable. One should have a hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing & walking shoes, sunscreen, a poncho, and plenty of cash. It is advise not to drink a lot of alcoholic beverages in the heat.
What to expect at a NASCAR race? Most fans have a favorite racecar driver to cheer on. The big excitement is when the vehicle crashes on the track. One never knows the outcome will be with any crash. Towards the final minutes of the race will determine who will be crowned the champion.
If you get hungry during the race, this event has you covered. There are many concession stands underneath the stands on the main concourses. They have everything from sandwiches, salads, burgers, hotdogs, peanuts, ice cream, and much more. Plus, there is a long list of beverages from soda to liquor. Food and drink prices will range from about $5 – $15 depending on what you order. Anyone buying alcohol less than 40 years old must show any government I.D. No underage drinking is allowed!
