Some of the best female professional bowlers will be coming to town. Now is your chance to come out and see them in action. There are many events taking place and ended with the tournament championship round. So mark your calendar for the Bowlerx.com PWBA Orlando Open Bowling Tournament on Aug 15-17, 2019 at Boardwalk Bowl Entertainment Center (BBEC), in East Orlando. Get your tickets now for this professional sports event.

Traveling from Downtown Orlando to East Orlando is just a quick drive. Head east on Colonial Drive. Check your GPS for the best route to this location. There is plenty of free parking available on property. There address is 10749 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, Florida 32817. This building was a former Walmart location at one time.

There is much to see and do at BBEC. This place has 80 bowling lanes of mega fun and is one of the largest entertainment centers in the Southeast. Besides bowling they have Zombie Boardwalk attraction, arcade, billiards, and Bonkers Comedy Club. One can’t go bored at this place. This place is owned and managed by Aloma Bowling Centers.Here is some brief history about the lady pro bowlers in Orlando. At onetime the Lady Pro Bowlers Tournament (LPBT) held one of their bowling tournaments stop at Aloma Bowling Center in Winter Park, Florida. Since then they have moved the bowling tournament to BBEC where it is now.

Here is a brief overview of this bowling tournament. Each female professional bowler signs up for this event a few months ahead of time. This tournament has a limit of 100 female bowlers to pre-qualify for this tournament on the first day. Next, the tournament will be cut down to the top 32 bowlers. Then bowlers get cut again to 12 players. The final round gets cut to the top 5 players for this tournament.

Which female professional bowlers are participating in this tournament? They are Josie Barnes, Valerie Bercier, Julia Bond, Sydney Brummett, Bryanna Cote, Verity Crawley, Sandra Gongora, Clara Guerrero, Stefanie Johnson, Liz Johnson, Dasha Kovalova, Liz Kuhlkin, Erin McCarthy, Danielle McEwan, Shannon O’Keefe, Missy Parkin, Shannon Pluhowsky, Giselle Poss, Jordan Richard, Maria Jose Rodriguez, Tannya Roumimper, Diana Zavjalova, and much more.

On Thursday, Aug 15, 2019, at 7pm, there is an opportunity to bowl with the Professionals in a Pro-Am on the first day only. If you’re a serious bowler then check out this event. Amateurs are paired with three different female professional for each game. It is unknown at this time what the lanes conditions will be like for the Pro-Am. Expect the lanes to be oily. This is your chance to get tips on your game. These female bowlers are very friendly. There is limited space so act now to reserve your spot. Walk-ups are welcome but are available with open spaces left. For more information on this Pro-Am contact BBAC.

Get your tickets now to watch the 1st round thru the final from June 25-30, 2018. There are a limited number of spectator tickets for each day. It is recommended to get your tickets ahead of time.

Don’t worry if you get hungry. The BBAC has you covered. Check out the Brooklyn Bar South. A place to grab your favorite beverage, have some delicious eats, and a great place to watch your favorite sports team. Brooklyn South Bar offers beers on tap and in the bottle with domestic, import, and craft selections, and a fully stocked liquor bar. You are sure to have a drink that will satisfy your taste buds!

Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019
9 a.m.: Pre-Tournament Qualifier (eight games)
Top eight players from PTQ advance to the main field
4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Official practice
7 p.m.: Bowl with the Pros

Friday, Aug. 16, 2019
10 a.m.: Qualifying – Round 1 (eight games)
5 p.m.: Qualifying – Round 2 (eight games)
Cut to top 12 players

Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019
10 a.m.: Round of 12 (six games)
Cut to top five players for stepladder finals
2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Fan Fest
4 p.m.: Live televised finals on CBS Sports Network
