ORLANDO, FL. (August 27, 2019) – Beginning on September 11, 2019, local residents can begin the process of applying for a U.S. Passport at the Orange County Library System.
Those who wish to obtain their passport can schedule an appointment by calling the library’s main number at 407.835.7323. Appointments will be available at the Orlando Public Library; 101 E. Central Blvd. on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 10-12pm and 2-7pm, as well as on Saturday’s from 10-12pm and 2-5pm. A library card is not needed to complete the passport application at the library. Fees still apply and two separate fees are required. Check or money order made payable to U.S. Department of State for passport fee and cash or credit/debit card for the Orlando Public Library execution fee.
The library will also have the option to get you passport photo taken for just $10. This option will be available on site and can be done during the appointment. Applicants may bring in their own 2”x2” photos for the application if they choose.
Library Passport Acceptance Facilities do not accept passport renewals or emergency passports that are needed in less than three weeks. Most renewals can be done by mail.
