Mark your calendar for 2019 AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin in Orlando, which is being held December 14-15, 2019, at the Orange County Convention Center. This is a must show to see for dog lover of all breeds. The venue is being held in an air-conditioned controlled environment. This is a family friendly event. Rain or shine this event goes on.
It is only a quick drive from Downtown Orlando to the OCCC in South Orlando. Check your GPS for the best route to OCCC. There is plenty of parking available. Sorry, no free parking in the area. There is a parking fee for parking on the OCCC property. This show address is located at 9400 Universal Boulevard, in Orlando.
For tickets for this show on both days are $10 per person ages 13+.Event ticket (beginning 8 am) includes access to: Conformation Breed and Group judging, Obedience and Agility Competitions, AKC Meet the Breeds, NADD/AKC Diving Dogs, Demo ring and Vendors. Group Judging in the Arena – doors open at 4:00pm. At 4:30pm, Evening Group Competitions and presentations for the breeds judged on that day. Limited general seating in two sections. Available on a “First Come-First Serve Basis”, based on capacity control. Each ticket is valid for the date printed on it. No Exchanges or refunds. Children ages 12 & under admitted free. Active Military free. Must have Valid Military ID – present to ticket sellers at any entrance. The AKC National Championship is one of the world’s premiere dog events. It is the largest dog event in the North America and the only dog show hosted by the American Kennel Club. The National Championship is held in conjunction with the AKC Agility Invitational, the AKC Obedience Classic, the National Owner-Handled Series Finals, and Junior competitions in Conformation, Agility, Obedience and Rally®.
This event will showcase more than 5,000 of the top national and international dogs, as well as the same competitions and attractions held in previous years, including:
- Best Bred-by-Exhibitor competition
- AKC/Royal Canin National All-Breed Puppy Stakes
- AKC National Owner-Handler Series Finals
- AKC Agility Invitational
- AKC Obedience Classic
- North American Diving Dogs
- Juniors competitions in each sport
As in the previous four years, the National Championship will stream the show via a live webcast. Last year’s popular live stream on AKC.TV garnered millions of viewers over two days. The 2019 livestream will air on AKC.TV.
Visitors will be spending 3-4 hours walking around and viewing the various competitions. Plus, there will be vendors selling dog products and services. If you need anything for your dog, then this is the place to be. Don’t forget to bring a camera/camcorder and capture this wonderful dogs.
