The drive from Downtown Orlando to Raymond James Stadium may take approximately one hour and thirty-nine minutes with a single trip of eighty-eight miles. Traffic on I-4 maybe heavy so plan accordingly. Check your GPS for the best route there. It is advised to pre-pay for parking ahead of game day to reserve your parking space to create less hassle for you and your group. Get your ticket either online or at the box office. Here is some important ticket information. Ticket Office will be open Thursday, 12/19 and Friday, 12/20 from 10am-5pm. On Game Day, December 23rd the Ticket Office will open at 9am. Prices for tickets range from $25-$65+ per ticket. Handicap tickets maybe available too. Press Release parts from Gasparilla Bowl. UCF (9-3, 6-2) and Marshall (8-4, 6-2) have each appeared in the bowl a record three times prior to this year, but this will be their first-ever meeting in the bowl game. UCF owns an 8-3 all-time mark against Marshall.
“Our bowl game has experienced terrific support from both UCF and Marshall fans in the past and we look forward to welcoming them back again this year,” said Scott Glaser, executive director of the Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl.
UCF enters the game as one of the most notable offensive teams in the country. The Knights are fourth overall in yards per game (536.6) and are tied for sixth in scoring, averaging 43.0 points per game. UCF scored 50 or more points in three games this season, including a season-best 63 points on the road at Temple.
Marshall is the reigning Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl champions after defeating USF last year 38-20. The Thundering Herd, who become the first team to appear in back-to-back years in this bowl game, finished this season winning six of their last seven games. Head Coach Doc Holliday is undefeated in this bowl game, staking wins over USF (2018), UConn (2015) and FIU (2011).
