Here is some brief information about Shen Yun. hen Yun invites you to experience a divinely inspired culture through the breathtaking art of classical Chinese dance. Audiences travel from legends of the past to stories of courage in China today; from snowy mountaintops to vast grasslands. Large animated backdrops extend the stage and transport the audience to another world. These grand images are dynamic, involving unique interaction with stage—a patented innovation that has inspired Hollywood and catches seasoned theatergoers by surprise.

The Shen Yun Orchestra accompanies every dance performance, masterfully blending two of the world’s greatest classical music traditions. Shen Yun’s vocalists sing bel canto solos in Chinese. Another regular favorite is the solo performance on the two-stringed erhu, with its stirring notes reminiscent of the human voice. Throughout the performance, dancers are adorned by hundreds of exquisitely handcrafted costumes whose origins span China’s dynasties, regions, and ethnic groups. Each piece is briefly presented by two bilingual emcees, who guide the audience through this foreign journey and add insight and a touch of humor to the Shen Yun experience. This information came from Shen Yun website.

Viewers will be amazed by this unique performance. Shen Yun has a different performance each year. The previous show last year is different from the current show for this year. Shen Yun is an experience at once exciting, inspiring, and breathtakingly beautiful. The performance is steeped in a classical aesthetic and virtues forged over five millennia of civilization. This is art that uplifts and transcends. This season, it’s your turn to discover Shen Yun. Expect to see a lot of dancing on stage.

This is one performance you and your family will not want to miss. Be inspired and support the Chinese culture. For more information on this show please visit www.shenyun.com , https://www.drphillipscenter.org/events/tickets/2020/shen-yun-2020/ or email syorlando@gmail.com .
