Mennello Museum of Art in Orlando Announcement & Other News

Press Release by Mennello Museum of Art in Orlando

City of Orlando leadership has officially made the decision to temporary close the Mennello Museum of American Art to the public through May 1 (subject to change).  This decision was made in an effort to remain cautious regarding our members, visitors, docents and team, and the Orlando community.  All events and programs through May 1 will be postponed until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the advice and guidance from government and health officials.

Thank you for your patience and support. We look forward to welcoming you back to the museum when we reopen.

While the museum is temporarily closed, we still focus on our museum as providing wellness as we believe “museums are places of solace and meditation” and the Mennello Museum has long been a site for respite – one of our motivations in building our future- new museum!

Though we’re temporarily closed, we’re still working hard to ensure our exhibits and programs are ready for you when we re-open, and creating online content to enjoy from home. Our community’s art organizations need your support to continue to be your places of inspiration, learning, respite, and entertainment, in the near and far future. Membership is a great way to contribute now.
