Product Review – Maizada Yellow Corn Tostadas 10oz package

Recently, I purchased a 10oz package of Maizada Yellow Corn Tostadas at my local Dollar Tree store in Central Florida. The cost was only one dollar. Here is what I found out about this product. This bands claims that it is “Natural- Delicious corn taste with a high degree of crunchiness in every bite.” I’m sure you’ll agree.

Who is the Maizada food brand? This brand was created by Mexicorp LLC, which has an office in Sugar Land, Texas. Other brands this company produces are Rogelio Bueno Autentico, Fruity King, Botana Co, Tostadas Raspadas, Teloloapan, Alfresco, and Mexichef. One can’t miss the bright yellow, green, red, and black colored product packaging. Customers will find this product on the Spanish/Mexican section on the food aisle. This food product is made in Mexico. The UPC code is 044774-115010.

On the product packaging it claims that this product is made with corn, no cholesterol, 55 calories per corn tostada, gluten free, no trans fats, no artificial flavors added, and is sugar free. Look for the “Best by Date” on packaging. The manufacture suggests that consumers keep this product tightly closed in a cool and dry place. It is believed that an unopened corn tostadas can last 1-2 months. It is recommend to place this product in an airtight container for fresh keeping.
