2021 Art & History Museum – Maitland presents On Seeing Segovia Art Exhibit Preview

Maitland, FL – Need a vacation? Visit beautiful Spain right in your Central Florida backyard. Visitors will see Paintings, Etchings, and Story by Jules André Smith. This art exhibit runs from May 22 – September 19, 2021, at the Art & History Museum – Maitland. It is worth your time to see it.

It is a short drive from Downtown Orlando to the Maitland Art Center. Check your GPS for the best route there. There is some parking at the museum. They are located at 231 West Packwood Avenue, Maitland, Florida 32751.

Plus, there is an open reception being held on Friday, May 21, 2021, 6:30pm to 9pm. This event is SOLD OUT for the night. Who is Jules André Smith? He was an artist for the United States Army during the World War I. Born in Hong Kong in 1880. Smith lived in Hamburg, Germany, New York City, and Maitland, Florida. He died in Maitland in 1959. What is neat about Smith is that he created the Maitland Research Studio in 1937, where he taught art classes and had art exhibits which is now the Maitland Art Center.
