Altamonte Springs, FL – It has been a few weeks since RaceTrac reopened their gas station location at 484 South State Road 434. Many consumers were eager for this convenient store to reopen again. There was no fan fare or press release for this store re-opening location. Now it is back to normal business operations.
On February 21, 2019, there was a fire that consumed most of the building except for the gas pumps. News 6 reported that Seminole County along with Longwood Fire Departments battled the blazes around 10:30am that day.
They have been closed for over two years now and slowly rebuilt the structure. This is one popular gas station for many locals. They have not announced anything about a re-grand opening. However, there is a sign on the lawn that states they are open for business. Still, I’m excited they are open again!
What is RaceTrac Petroleum, LLC? This company is a popular store for gasoline and snacks for motorists and everyone else. They operate about 600 gas stations in the southern United States. In 1934 Carl Bolch founded this company in Missouri. Now they are home-based out of Atlanta, Georgia. The Bolch family still owns and runs their company. RaceTrac employs around 3,500 from clerks to managers. Most of the gas stations are company owned locations. However, there are some franchise locations too.
This small brick and mortar convenient store offers self-service gas for your vehicle, beverages, fresh food, and much more. Wow! Fresh new look inside and outside too. The gas pumps stayed the same.
Finally, I have visited this business many times. They had great customer service with 2-3 clerks on duty at a time. One could always run into the store to get a bite or beverage and run out to your next stop of the day. For more information on this gas station please visit www.racetrac.com .
