Medical Minute – Sickness Journal with COVID-19 Symptoms

While the world is still under a COVID-19 pandemic, the general public still needs to take this virus seriously. Please continue to social distance and wear your facemask. Just because there is lower amount of cases does not result in the pandemic being over. I can’t stress this enough! Save yourself and your family from this bad virus!

Everyone still needs to be get vaccinated. You decide get the one dose Johnson & Johnson or get the two doses Pfizer or Moderna. Do not wait till it is too late. Having a doze will cutting your chances of receiving high COVID-19 virus symptoms. This is not a game. So save your family from a tough COVD-19 illness at home or in the hospital.

I am publicly disclosing my medical record online for all to see. This will give you an insight of what you may experience with COVID-19. Back in March 2021. I received the one dose Johnson and Johnson. However, I did receive a few symptoms from the injection. I felt muscle or body aches in my knees and a sore arm.

I believe this is honest journalism that I am reporting to disclose this information to community. What other media outlets are doing this. I have not seen any! My medical journal will give you an insight throughout this virus period.

It is believed that I may have contact the COVD-19 by either work in Downtown Orlando and or at my church. No other contact tracing was necessary. However, I did inform the people who I was closest too that I have contracted this virus.

On Sunday, July 4, 2021, It is believed that I started getting the COVD-19 symptoms. Here is the rest of the run down on the symptoms.

07/04, Sunday – Came down with a cough

07/05, Monday – Came down with a cough

07/06, Tuesday – Came down with a cough and runny nose, congestion

07/07, Wednesday – Came down with a cough and runny nose, congestion

07/08, Thursday – Came down with a cough and runny nose, sore throat, muscle or body aches, congestion, frequent urination, chills

07/09, Friday – Came down with a cough and runny nose, sore throat, muscle or body aches, chills, congestion, frequent urination, (Conducted 1st COVID-19 Tested, on Friday afternoon)

07/10, Saturday – Came down with a cough and runny nose, sore throat, chills, fever @ 99.2 + 98.2, congestion, slight migraine, low appetite, muscle or body aches, frequent urination, tiredness, (Received 1st COVID-19 test results, found positive)

07/11, Sunday – cough, runny nose, congestion, slight headache, low appetite, muscle or body aches, frequent urination, Body temp @ 98.9, tiredness

07/12, Monday – cough, congestion, low appetite, body temp @ 97.5, tiredness, lack of taste, tiredness

07/13, Tuesday – cough, congestion, tiredness, body temp @ 97.1, lack of taste, low appetite

07/14, Wednesday – light congestion, lack of taste, light cough, tiredness

07/15, Thursday – light congestion, lack of taste

07/16, Friday – light congestion, lack of taste, (Conducted a 2nd COVID-19 Test, in the morning)

07/17, Saturday – light congestion, lack of taste, light cough, tiredness. (Received 2nd COVID-19 test results, found inconclusive). There reason why it was inconclusive because I failed to conduct the test right. I remember rotating the swab in my nose too fast. The swab did not pick up enough fluid in my nose. My recommendation is to put the swab on the inside wall of your nose then slowly rotate. Then you will have a better chance of success.

07/18, Sunday – light congestion, lack of taste, light cough, (Conducted a 3rd COVID-19 Test, in the morning)

07/19, Monday – light congestion, lack of taste, light cough. (Received 3rd COVID-19 test results, found negative). It was a good feeling to see the negative test results. Some side effects may linger. This test result was forward to my employer to return to work.

Once you get a few days into the COVID-19 symptoms, you’ll reach a peak then start going back down. If your case gets worse, then contact your doctor and or go to the hospital. Don’t take any chances with your life.

While at home, try to eat regularly. Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Plus, get plenty of rest. I don’t recommend exercising because of low energy. Stay away from other people if you are quarantined at your home. If not, you could spread this virus to them.

Once you take the 1st COVID-19 test and come up positive then you will also receive a phone call from your county health department to check in on you. When they called me, they left a voice mail on my cell phone. I did not call the nurse back from the health department because of my mild symptoms.

Finally, I hope this article gives you an insight on what you might through and see the virus progression over the sixteen days. Just because you had the virus doesn’t mean you are safe. Still continue to wear a mask and social distancing. We are all in this together.
