What does Thanksgiving mean to you? To me it means being with family and friends and sitting down to have a great Thanksgiving meal. It is a time to reflect and to give thanks. Don’t let someone sit at home alone during this holiday. Invite them to come with you to a Thanksgiving meal. They will be glad you asked them.
Expect to see the local news media covering this story on Thanksgiving Day. Most of the news media tells the same story every year by interviewing a few attendees and asked how they liked it. Plus, the news shows the massive kitchen to cook all the food.
What’s on the Thanksgiving menu? They will be plenty of fresh turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, cranberries sauce, green beans, corn, salad, and much more. Visitors can eat in or take it to go.
The dinning hall is set-up in the gym and can accommodate large crowds. Many people will be coming and going throughout the day. Be vised that their could be a waiting line to get in.
If you would like to volunteer at this year’s Salvation Army Orlando Thanksgiving event please contact their office for more details. Volunteers are always needed and no one is turned away from helping. This is a time for sharing and giving. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
