2022 Annual Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival in Orlando Preview

Everyone is welcome join the local Puerto Rican community to celebrate the annual Florida Puerto Rican Parade & Festival in Downtown Orlando on Saturday, April 23, 2022, starting at 10am. This is a family friendly event. Rain or Shine this event goes on.

Here is some brief information about this parade. The recent Parade, Festival and related activities were established to promote the Puerto Rican community culture, heritage and its contributions to the State of Florida. The Parade and Festival promote the achievements made by Puerto Ricans in Business, Health, Music, Science, Arts and Government. Puerto Ricans from throughout Florida cities and surrounding states are encouraged to attend. Friends and families of participants and spectators are invited to join in this annual celebration, which is destined to become a milestone event for families from across the region and Puerto Rico to get together. Parking should not be a big problem in Downtown Orlando for this parade. It is recommended to arrive early for good parking and a reserve your great viewing spot on the street. There are many public and private parking garages in downtown to choose from. The price for parking may range from $10-$20 per vehicle depending the on location. Some streets may be closed due to the parade. Expect drivers to be detoured around North Orange Avenue. Law Enforcement will be out directing traffic before, during, and after this parade.

The organizers of this parade have asked spectators when they arrive for the parade to go to one of these streets to support your district and cheer on as the parade goes by. This parade will start on Concord Street and travel straight down on Orange Ave to finish at East South Street at Orlando City Hall. Here is the breakdown street by street:
ARECIBO: East Robinson to E. Jefferson
HUMACAO: E Amelia to E Livingston
MAYAGUEZ: E Central to E Church
SAN JUAN: E Church to E South
BAYAMON: West Robinson to West Jefferson
CAROLINA: W Jefferson to W Central
GUAYAMA: W Central to W Church
PONCE: W Central to W Church

The sights and sounds of this parade will want to make you celebrate the culture and heritage of Puerto Rico. There will be many individuals, companies, organizations, and local government officials, who will be participating in this parade. Expect to see Orlando Mayer Dyer, JROTC Units, Fire Trucks, Law Enforcement, WFTV on-air personalities, and much more.
