2019 Fall Spooky Empire in Tampa Preview

It is that time of year when the ghosts and goblins come out for Halloween. Spooky Empire is all about Halloween. This year there is a change in venue location. Hopefully, next year it will be back in Orlando. This event is being held all in one place on October 31 thru November 3, 2019, at the Tampa Convention Center. Get your tickets now for the hottest event in Tampa Bay!

Admission to this show will vary. Here are the general admission tickets as follows:

  • Weekend Pass – All 4 Day – $90, (plus $2.75 service fee)
  • Weekend Pass – All 3 Day – $80, (plus $2.75 service fee)
  • Thursday – One Day Pass – $20, (plus $2.75 service fee)
  • Friday – One Day Pass – $40, (plus $2.75 service fee)
  • Saturday – One Day Pass – $50, (plus $2.75 service fee)
  • Sunday – One Day Pass – $40, (plus $2.75 service fee)

It is an hour and half drive from Downtown Orlando to the Tampa Convention Center depending on traffic. Check your GPS for the best route there. It is advised to arrive early when the show opens. There are a few locations near the convention center where attendees will park. Event rate at most garages are a flat rate ranging from $5.00 to $12.00 per day, and subject to the event or an hourly rate of $1.60 per hour up to 5 hours, and over 5 hours flat at $9.50 per day. When arriving for this event, there is a security checkpoint to enter this venue. Please be advised certain items are not allowed at this venue. All bags will be search upon entry into this show. Please check spookyempire.com for more information.

Here is an event overview. There is much to expect at the Spring Spooky Empire convention. Plan to spend 3-6 hours in one day walking around browsing the various vendors, media guests meet and greet, exhibits, tattoos, film festival, costume contest, and much more.

See some of the hottest media celebrities at Spooky Empire – Tampa event. Here is a list of media guests such as Elvira, Mia Farrow, Alice Cooper, Clive Barker, Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, Ted Raimi, Tony Todd, James Hong, Twisted Sister Band, Friday The 13th Part VI Cast, Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 Cast, Danielle Harris, Ken Foree, Joe Bob Briggs, C.J. Graham, James Ransone, Roger L. Jackson, Tony Moran, Cerina Vincent, and much more. Note some media celebrities can be added or cancelled at anytime without notice. Please that not all media celebrities will appear on all four days. Check the show’s list for dates and times.

When coming for a meet and greet event for your favorite media celebrities, it is advised to arrive early to stand in line and wait for the celebrity to arrive. Sorry, no free autographs, photos, and selfies. All celebrities will change for their time to meet with them. Expect to spend only a few minutes with the celebrity because there are other fans waiting in line. It is recommended to bring cash to pay for an autograph and or photo with the star. Most celebrities charge fans to meet with them between $20 – $100+. Don’t be price shocked.

Don’t forget to check out the convention show floor with various vendors and artisans. One will find Halloween accessories and costumes, spooky toys, books, horror movies, comic books, original and reproduction artwork, jewelry, and much more. These vendors are very friendly. Most items for sale are marked with price tags. Prices will vary depending on the item. Most vendors take credit cards, but it is recommended to pay in cash.

If your looking for tattoos then this is the place to be. There will be a bunch of well-known tattoo companies’ set-up shop to create a tattoo for you. Note this is a state regulated industry in the State of Florida. All safety and sanitation must be followed for all tattoo artists. Prices will vary depending on the size and time of the tattoo artwork be created. It is not recommended to be drunk when having a tattoo done because an individual’s blood will be thin for a tattoo procedure being done.
